The Connecticut Branch of the International Dyslexia Association (ConnBIDA)
Saturday, November 9th, 2013
Many of the members of the Connecticut Branch of the International Dyslexia Association are actively involved in the treatment and remediation of dyslexia. Our members are educators, psychologists, physicians, social workers, scientist and individuals with dyslexia who have dealt with learning disability issues within local* school systems and the State Department of Education (or local and state levels of government). One of our branch’s most important issue is to have the state of Connecticut acknowledge that dyslexia exists and implement laws and policies that protect the dyslexic child (or individual).
*We work internationally and nationally on legislation, public awareness, research, public information and education.
